The Louise Hamilton Cancer Help Centre Trust Bursary Fund
(Help when you need it most)
Louise Hamilton was born in Gorleston in 1969. A former pupil of the Wroughton and Lynn Grove Schools, she later gained a degree in languages at Bristol University. Whilst in Bristol at the age of 26 Louise found that she had breast cancer. After conventional treatment failed Louise sought help from the Bristol Cancer Help Centre which she found enormously beneficial.
Louise sadly passed away at the age of 28. Her family wishing to establish a positive lasting memorial to Louise began the Louise Hamilton Cancer Help Centre Trust (registered charity number 1106129) with the aim to providing a similar establishment in the Norfolk area.
Meanwhile the Louise Hamilton Bursary award scheme is now in place to offer cancer patients on genuinely limited means financial help towards the cost of attending a similar centre.
Applications for a bursary or for further information about the Louise Hamilton Cancer Help Centre Trust, should be made to Roberta Lovick, Chairperson, LHCHCT, The Old Police House, Ludham Road, Potter Heigham, Norfolk, NR29 5JA. Telephone: 01692 670076
